In September 2023 A.R.S.R. Skadi Rotterdam and K.R.Z.V De Maas organise the Rotterdam Coastal Races.
This regatta will be a part of the coastal rowing classification of the KNRB.

A.r.s.r. ‘Skadi’
In 1926, a student rowing association was founded in Rotterdam. Two years later this association was named Skadi, after the mythical goddess of hunting in Norse mythology. At Skadi, rowing is of utmost importance. Whether you want to row recreational or competitive, the association continues to bring together Rotterdam students and its former members. Athletes at Skadi row both national and international competitions, as they continue their reputation as world-class rowers. However, in addition to the serious training schedules there always remains time for leisure at the bar of the club.
Skadi is one of the organizing parties of the Rotterdam Coastal Races.

KRZV ‘De Maas’
KRZV ‘De Maas’ is a rowing- and sailing association in Rotterdam. It was founded in 1851, making it one of the oldest societies in watersports in the Netherlands. The Society of the Maas is situated at the entrance of the Veerhaven and next to the river Maas, revealing the reasoning behind its ethymology. A stunning view of the river and its shipping can be appreciated while being there. Already for more than 150 years, De Maas is proud of its many successes in watersports, both nationally and internationally.
De Maas is one of the organizing parties of the Rotterdam Coastal Races.
