Rotterdam coastal Races
Coastal rowing has made an enormous development in the past years. This branch of rowing sport focuses on rowing in open waters. Because of the heavier conditions, the boats are wider and more robust than the boats used on rivers and lakes. The coastal rowing sport also has common grounds with the sailing sport. Coastal rowing guarantees a spectacle on the beaches of Rotterdam.
This year in the weekend of the 16th and 17th of September 2023 A.R.S.R Skadi Rotterdam and K.R. & Z.V De Maas will organize a coastal regatta, the Rotterdam Coastal Races. The Rotterdam Coastal Races will be held along the shoreline of Hoek van Holland.
Information about the race and the side-events surrounding it will gradually be released in the coming months. Already make sure to schedule your plans around this weekend and we might just see you battling it out in a new spectacular race off the coast of Rotterdam.
